Exactly when do you charge me and how much do you charge me?
Included in the price of every package is a non-refundable start fee. We charge you 50% of the total fee when you order the package. We do not charge the rest until you say you are satisfied with your final logo.

What if I don't get a logo I like?
It rarely happens, but if we can't design a logo you're happy with, you can cancel your project. Just tell your account manager or the designer you're working with. If you cancel your project, we don't charge the balance.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, certified cheque, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express (via PayPal).

Can I get more or fewer design concepts than what's included in your packages?
Yes. For example, you might already have a strong idea what your logo should look like, and only want to get two design concepts. The easiest way is to call us or e-mail us. One of our representatives will be happy to create and price a package to meet your specific needs.

If I buy a 6 concept logo design package, and later discover I want more concepts, can I upgrade to a bigger package?
Yes. Just tell your account manager or the designer you're working with that you'd like to upgrade to a bigger package. We'll credit the start fee you've already paid toward the start fee of the bigger package.

I've already sketched out a logo I like. Can you clean it up and make it look good?
Yes. Because every project is different, the best way to get an accurate price is to call us or e-mail us. One of our representatives will ask you a few questions to better understand what you're looking for and how far along your logo design already is. We'll then create a design package to meet your needs.

How much does it cost to print business cards and stationery?
We can quote prices for printing business cards and stationery. Factors such as paper style, printing method (offset, engraving, thermography, letterpress, etc.) and quantity help determine prices. Please contact us by phone or by e-mail for a quote.

Can I order by phone?
Yes. If you have questions about any of our design packages, or would rather place your order by phone, you may call us or e-mail us and speak with one of our representatives.

What do you need from me to design my logo?
There are two things we need from you to help us design a great looking logo.

1) Tell us about your needs: We send you a short questionnaire designed to help us understand the image you're looking for, the industry you're in, and how your business is unique.

2) Give us your honest feedback: We design multiple logo concepts for your review. You pick the best one and give us your feedback.

We keep revising it until it's just the way you like it. Give us your feedback in plain English and we'll figure out how to do it. You don't need to know fancy design terminology. Feel free to ask us questions - we'll do the same. And we'll give you our recommendations too.

How long will this take?
Every design project is different. We've seen design projects finish in as little as one week. Others have taken more than eight weeks.

Fortunately, you largely control how long your project takes by how quickly you review and give feedback about the designs we send you.

We promise to send you initial design concepts within three business days of placing your order. And we promise to send you revised designs incorporating your feedback within two business days.

How do I talk with my logo designer?
You communicate with your designer anywhere you can access a computer via e-mail or you can always phone your designer.

What you'll get

What file formats do I get and where can I use my logo?
We format your finalized logo for most popular business uses, including use on your website, in business programs like QuickBooks, PowerPoint, and Word. You can also use your logo in print and on signage. We offer logos in PDF, BMP, JPEG, AI, TIFF, PNG, GIF, PSD, and EPS. If there are any other formats you need it in, we will glad to provide you it in that format if possible.

Will I be able to make changes to my final logo?
Yes. You'll receive the master files for your finalized logo. Use these files along with popular graphic design programs like Adobe Illustrator to make changes to your logo, if needed.

Business cards and stationery

Who puts employee names on my business cards?
Your finalized business card design files are delivered to you with one employee's name and contact information included. We can add additional employee names for a small fee. Call us for pricing.

How do I get business cards and stationery printed?
We can print your cards for you. We will let you choose the style of paper (gloss, matte, or linen), type of ink (raised or flat) etc. Check out our printing page for more detials.

I already have a logo. Can I get business cards and stationery only?
Yes. Order our standalone Business Card and Stationery Design package, and we'll incorporate your existing logo into their designs.
We'll need a version of your logo in a vector graphics format (e.g. EPS, PNG) we can manipulate.

I want my logo designed, but I don't want to buy business cards and stationery right now. Can I order them later and still get a discount?

No. The setup costs and design time to create your business cards and stationery are partially absorbed when we design them together with your logo. We pass those savings on to you. Plus, designing them together ensures an integrated and consistent look and feel -- which makes everything look better.

Other common questions

Can you help me name my business? Can you create a tagline?
Yes. While we don't offer business naming or tagline packages you can buy, you can get quotes directly from copywriters and marketing professionals. Call or e-mail us for a quote.

Can you redesign my existing logo?
Yes. While already having a logo gives you a head start, redesigning an existing logo is similar to getting a new logo designed from scratch. Simply choose one of our logo design packages, and indicate in your questionnaire that you already have a logo to start with.

Will you help me choose which logo design concept is best?

Yes. We realize getting the right logo designed is important to the success of your business. You can ask your account manager or designer anytime for guidance, recommendations, and assistance. We're here to help you.

Will my logo be unique?
Yes. We don't start with partially-designed templates. We don't pull a pre-made logo out of a library and slap your name on it. Every logo is designed from the ground up by our graphic designers. We review your needs. We learn what's special about your business. And we incorporate your unique values into your logo.

Will I own my logo?
Yes. You own the rights to your final logo. The rights to the logo design concepts that do not become your final logo remain with Mark Anthony Media.

Will my logo ever be duplicated or sold again?
Mark Anthony Media does not sell pre-made logos.

Do you verify my logo design doesn't violate any existing trademark? Do you trademark my new logo?
We do not perform trademark services for logos designed at Elance. Many legal firms provide specialized trademark search and application services at affordable rates.
